Reconfigurable Linear Antenna Arrays for Beam-Pattern Matching in Collocated MIMO Radars

Beam-pattern matching plays an important role in multiple-input multiple-output radars. In the vast majority of research done this area, aim is to find covariance matrix waveforms fed into transmit array. Also, reconfiguring a preset array antennas (antenna selection), which means turning off some array, effective technique reach desired beam patterns, dynamically. article, we introduce novel multistep method implement reconfiguration uniform linear each step, by exploiting relation between diagonal elements resulted from solving beam-pattern problem and transmitted power antennas, least antenna turn it accordingly. Then, repeat process until predefined number remains. Our proposed outperforms its counterparts literature terms as well computational complexity, makes appropriate for real-time applications. Simulations are used show validity superiority method.
